    Very good

Location and surrounding sight view from the hotel is excellent . Perfect place for spending holiday with family and friends within the Hotel . Nearby as such no place to see , expect enjoying sight view from the Hotel.

Choice of Food. Besides Hotel stay is expensive .

The laid back atmosphere is perfect for the people to get away from there hustling and bustling city life and enjoy the love of nature....very amazing place..as an airline crew I have stayed in many hotels across the globe but this is one of the best hotels I have ever been...perfect place for couples.

Well if there is something I don't like about this place then its nothing.

    Superb

It's attention to detail and professionalism. Staff were very attentive and effeciant and the hotel it's was built in an incredibly beautiful location.

There still seemed to be a lot of construction going on which meant there were some ugly parts to the holel. This could have been covered with a fence.

As architects, we like how the hotel is integrated into the natural environment and how the whole hotel is oriented to view the Himalayas. The roof deck for viewing the Himalayas is a splendid idea. The interior of the public/common spaces are well designed but the room we stayed in was nothing special. While we liked the wooden floors and the personal balcony, the rest of the room needs major renovation. The room is a bit run down which is a stark contrast to the public areas.

We did not like the room because it is old/run down and requires renovation. Also, we did not like the fact that the air-conditioning was not cold enough. We know that we can open the windows and let the mountain breeze come in. But we do not like leaving our windows open at night. Who knows what mythical mountain creature is out there. We also did not like that we were not informed before our arrival that the pool is being maintained as we brought some swim wear and stuff. We ordered for coffee and after 15 minutes our coffee was not served yet. We ultimately had to cancel the order. Also, this is the first time that we encountered a hotel which discourages room service/food to delivered in the rooms which is a bit rigid and unfriendly for tourist. The dinner and breakfast buffet choices are very limited.

    Fabulous

Club Himalaya was great overall. The location is amazing and you have a wonderful view of the Himalayas right from your room. The food is fantastic and the hotel staff is great too.

The only issue I had was the cleanliness of my room. When I first opened the door to my room, immediately I saw 2 or 3 flies scatter. Not a good sign for cleanliness. Then I looked around and had to kill about 5 more in the room. The tile in the room is also worn down badly, but other than that the room was nice. When I talked to the hotel staff about it, they said that room hadn't been occupied in a while, so perhaps flies got in there accidentally.

    Fabulous

    1) Beautiful view and gardens, 2) Very large rooms with absolute out of the world view from own balcony & modern toilet 3) High quality furniture and bedding and lights in room 4) beautiful indoor swimming pool

    1) New building is not easily accessible from the main building, 2) Not having elevator, 3) Poor breakfast & dinner menu, 4) No room service facility and 5) availability of hot water only between 5am-9am & 5pm to 11pm - eco friendly is fine, but you need to have peace of mind while relaxing on 7000 feet with nothing around with families comprising young children!

    The views and location

I did not like that it was not cleare before boking that there is no room service in the hotel and there is timing for hot water and there is no electricity some times. Also I did not like that there is no international food they have only spicy indian type food

This is my second visit. I love the location and the new building rooms are nice.

    The breakfast buffet wasn't appealing.

    Superb

Power cuts. The local govt should read more Lenin.

    Good

Beds are comfortable and water is hot. Own generator so no power blackouts, though most of the midrange hotels can now say the same.

Since you'll probably only be in Nagarkot once in your life, you may want to pick a more interesting an atmospheric hotel (many of which are nearby and just as clean, which is the only thing Club Himaalya has going for it). For this is a very bland, impersonal, gigantic "tour bus" group hotel. The only food on offer here is its breakfast and dinner buffets, which are uniformly terrible (soggy, overcooked and under-seasoned everything) and includes - in a chafing pan that sits out for hours - (I kid you not) The World's Worst Toast, among other sad and soggy choices, at breakfast - which takes place in a cavernous dining hall. The heated swimming pool wasn't when we stayed here in December, and while the book in the room offers a trekking guide for 600 NPR, when you go to book one, they tell you the cost is 1500 NPR. It's that kind of place. Again: you can do better. Try the Fort Resort or several of the others up the road.

Not much, apart from the mountain views.

The realisation how over-rated were reviews we read before making the booking.
